EveryCafe Updates: Why an Announced Update May Not Appear Yet
Information About EveryCafe Updates
Why Isn't the Update Visible for Me?
At EveryCafe, we release new updates through a defined process so we can provide our users with a more reliable and trouble-free experience.
Users who follow our update announcements may sometimes notice that an announced update is not yet visible on their own systems. In this article, we explain why this happens and how our update distribution process works.
First of all, if an announced update is not yet visible for you, this usually does not mean that there is a technical problem. EveryCafe updates are not made available to all users at the same time; they are distributed gradually according to a defined plan.
Why Do We Release Updates Gradually?
At EveryCafe, we do not enable the updates we publish for all users at once. Instead, we distribute updates in a controlled and gradual manner. The main reason is to prevent a possible issue from affecting a large number of users.
For example:
- A new feature may have been added.
- Performance improvements may have been made.
- An important bug may have been fixed.
Although our updates are tested extensively before release, there are thousands of different businesses and usage scenarios, so some situations can only become visible in real operating environments.
For this reason, we first enable an update for a limited number of users and carefully monitor the feedback. If no issue is detected, the update is gradually opened to more users and is generally made available to all users within about 1 week.
How Do I Know When the Update Is Available?
When an update is enabled for you in EveryCafe, EveryCafe Manager displays an update notification when you open the application. You can complete the update easily from this notification.
If you do not see an update notification when you open EveryCafe Manager:
- It does not mean that there is a problem with your computer.
- You do not need to uninstall and reinstall the program.
- It does not mean that there is a problem with your database or license.
In most cases, the only reason is that the update has not yet been enabled for your user group.
What Should I Do?
The only thing you need to do is wait.
You do not need to perform any additional action or reinstall the program. When the update is enabled for you, EveryCafe Manager will notify you automatically.
What Do We Specify in Update Announcements?
In the announcements we publish, we try to state clearly whether the update is:
- For EveryCafe Manager,
- For EveryCafe Client,
- Or for both applications.
For this reason, when reviewing an announcement, we recommend checking which component the update covers.
Conclusion
If an update has been announced but is not visible on your system yet, there is no need to worry. This usually means that the update has not yet been enabled for you.
By distributing updates in a controlled manner, EveryCafe aims to identify possible issues early and provide a more stable experience for all users.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
