How Can I Configure My USB Settings?

EveryCafe’s advanced USB system provides USB data-transfer charging controls while also improving security.

To configure USB settings, open USB ÜCRETLENDİRME under Araçlar > Seçenekler in EveryCafe Manager. The details shown on the right provide the following controls.

Under charging preference, you can choose whether USB charging is enabled or disabled.

You can also define how the customer is informed when a USB device is connected. Select the USB cihazı takılınca Bilgilendirme option and enter the message you want the customer to see.

You may have disks that should not be included in charging. In the field for disks to exclude from charging, list those drives separated by semicolons (;). Data transferred to those drives will not be charged.

For timed sessions, if you do not want USB charging or do not want USB data transfer at all, choose the appropriate option under Süreli oturum USB tercihi, such as read-only or allowing data transfer. Note that when data transfer is allowed, USB transfers during timed sessions are free even if USB charging is otherwise configured.

You can define tariff details by entering data-size ranges and prices in the fields on the right. You can also set a maximum amount of data that may be transferred in a single operation.

The main difference between the Standard and Advanced quota systems is that the Advanced system shows customers how much they will be charged before the transfer starts, reducing disputes at the cashier. If the USB device is removed during the transfer or the transfer is cancelled, charging is based on the amount of data that was actually transferred.

You can also change USB status immediately for individual computers. Open the USB shortcut list, right-click the relevant machine and change its USB status.
