This guide explains the source workflow for sharing product and order images with EveryCafe Client computers over the local network.

1. Create the image folder

Create a folder that will hold the product images and be shared with Client computers. The source guide recommends not creating this folder on the Windows system drive so the images are not lost if the Windows installation fails.

2. Configure Windows sharing

Right-click the folder, open its properties, go to the sharing section and use the share button. Add Everyone.

Set the permission level for Everyone to read-only. Set your own computer’s permission to read and write, then share the folder.

Next, open advanced sharing permissions and make sure Everyone is also restricted to read-only there.

3. Copy the network path

Open Network, choose your management computer and open the shared folder. Copy the network path shown for that folder.

4. Save the path in EveryCafe

In EveryCafe Manager, enter the copied path in the relevant field under Araçlar > Seçenekler > Oturum Ayarları > STOK AYARLARI, then click KAYDET.

5. Add images to stock cards

Add product images to the stock cards from EveryCafe Manager. Manager copies those images into the stock folder, and that shared folder makes the same images available to Client computers.

The source guide recommends 128×128 images so the order list is displayed properly.

Please note:

• Product images must be added to stock cards through EveryCafe Manager.

The system works as follows:

1. Product images are added to stock items in EveryCafe Manager.
2. Manager automatically copies the added images to the stock folder.
3. This folder is shared with Client computers over the network.
4. Clients read the images from this shared folder.

Images added manually to the stock folder are not recognized by the system and may not appear correctly on Clients.

IMPORTANT NOTE: FOR THESE IMAGES TO APPEAR ON CLIENTS, YOUR CLIENT VERSION MUST BE AT LEAST 1.0.226.
