Steam account and billing changes

 

  • A Steam account could now contain more than one Steam path, allowing the same account to launch games stored in different folders.

Steam billing was expanded to support either a fee per opened Steam session or hourly billing during the Steam session.

  • Historical Online Backup service

The 2018 source states that this release made an Online Backup service available. After purchase from the store, data would begin backing up automatically and could be restored from the cloud to the main computer after a crash. The source states that the service was billed monthly.

 

  • Historical data cleanup

An option was added under performance settings to delete older data. The source explains that cafes not using Online Backup could remove historical records to improve program performance, while businesses that wanted to retain those records were directed to the backup service. The deleted data consisted of session details such as session reports and order reports.
 

  • Fixes and changes

An issue where member sessions appeared as unlimited sessions in reports was fixed. They were to be shown as member sessions in both cash movements and order details.

 
 

Overlapping screens and alerts that could block interaction were corrected. The source gives examples such as a Client notification arriving during an ininal balance load or a Steam warning overlapping the announcement screen on the Client.
