EveryCafe Sharing Folder Setup Guide
Recommended method: create the sharing folder from EveryCafe
EveryCafe Manager can create and share the folder for you, so you do not need to build the Windows share manually.
Open Araçlar → Seçenekler → Oturum Ayarları → Stok Ayarları.
Important: Before starting, open the Network and Sharing Center link shown on the screen and disable password-protected sharing.
- Click Dizin Seç and choose where the sharing folder will be created.
- Enter a folder name.
- Click Paylaşım Klasörü Oluştur.
- EveryCafe creates the folder in the selected location and shares it automatically.
When you see the message confirming that the sharing folder was created successfully, the automatic setup is complete.
Alternative manual setup: If the automatic method cannot be used, follow the manual steps below.
1. Create the sharing folder
Create a folder on the main computer. The original guide recommends not placing this folder on the Windows system drive (C:).
Example: D:\EveryCafeShare
2. Share the folder in Windows
Right-click the folder, open Properties, then use the Sharing tab.
- Open the Sharing tab.
- Add the Everyone user and set the permission level to Read.
- Click Share.
Advanced sharing settings
To complete the share and avoid access problems, perform all of the following steps:
- Click Advanced Sharing.
- Enable Share this folder.
- Open Permissions and give Everyone only Read permission.
- Apply the settings and close all windows with OK.
3. Copy the network folder path
Copy the shared folder's UNC network path from Windows.
\\COMPUTER-NAME\EveryCafeShare
4. Register the path in EveryCafe
In EveryCafe Manager, open Araçlar → Seçenekler → Oturum Ayarları → Stok Ayarları. Paste the copied path into the Paylaşım Klasörü field and click Kaydet.

Once the configuration is complete and all terminal computers can access the share, EveryCafe can use it for features such as voice-message delivery, waiting-screen wallpaper distribution and product images.
